Why you may want a guided trip:

If you have limited experience. Rafting can be difficult without a guide unless you know what you are doing. This is because one person must direct the boat. That requires experience in reading rivers. It has nothing to do with athletic ability or strength. If someone is not guiding the raft (reading water and giving commands at the same time) you and your group will end up in the trees. Our responsibility is your safety. We want to ensure you have a great time. It's hard to have fun when you don't feel safe. If you choose a guided rafting trip, we can guarantee a safe trip down the Provo River or your money back.

Although the Provo River is an easy Class I-II float trip, many people end up hitting rocks, swimming and flipping at the bridge while rafting on their own. Many people end up losing gear and paying for it. Rafts are the most difficult watercraft to maneuver since it's a group activity. Rafting requires synchronized paddling and commands made by one person for the group to follow.

Guided rafting on the Provo River is great for small children and families. Rafting is the perfect social activity that will bond your group through teamwork. It's fun for family reunions and corporate team-building.
