Education

We offer high-quality, comprehensive, in-person classes from river rafting and kayaking experts. Our mission is to spark a life-long love of rivers for many of our guests. After training, many guests go on to plan and host their own private trips. Sections of the Kern River are excellent for training beginners and those with intermediate skills. After taking our classes, guests may run several other fun and more challenging sections of Kern River on their own with with confidence and skill.

Special Service

We offer special services such as photography, beverages and snacks. Our guides take time to listen to guests and work hard to exceed expectations. We are informative and fun. We also take our time during trips so guests will not feel rushed, pushed along in large groups or forgotten. We DO NOT and WILL NOT over-book trips because every guest is important to us. We want every guest to have fun and know we mean it when we say they are important.

We offer more trip options and flexibility than other any other outfitter on the Kern River. We are specialists in multi-day river trip planning and customization. We will consult with you to create your river trip and multi-day experience that you and your guests will regard as one of the most fun events you've had in a long time. Our Kern River Services

Our River Guides

With formal training in river and whitewater navigation and risk management, our river guides are informative, knowledgeable, supportive and State Licensed and First Aid & CPR certified. Take a trip with our river guides and you will find that our team is friendly, personable, fun-loving and passionate about rivers and the outdoors.

Shuttles

For both Guided and Self-Guided trips, we drive Kern River rafting and kayaking guests from your cars to our Kern River put-in and we pick you up at the river take-out to drive you back to your cars. We can accommodate large groups and private groups. Our shuttles are clean & spacious. Our drivers practice safe driving.

Classes, Training & Instruction

After our Kern River Skills Navigation, Paddling & Safety Classes, you'll be ready to do trips on your own safely and with confidence. We also offer Boy Scouts of America Merit Badge Training and Youth Training. Browse our classes and contact us with any specific training that you would like to receive.

River Gear Rentals

If you want to run trips yourself on the Kern River, or anywhere, we offer river gear rentals at hourly and daily rates. If you need camping gear, such as camp stoves, dry boxes and coolers, we offer camping gear rentals at daily rates. Training is provided as part of all river gear rental packages. Come out and spend the weekend on the Kern River. Have your camping experience fully catered with our camp pre-packed meals.

Catered Picnics & BBQs

Enjoy a fully-catered picnic or BBQ after your Kern River trip and leave the work to us. We offer deluxe full-service gourmet river meal catering. Our menu is filled with a variety of healthy, hearty and delicious appetizers, meals and snacks that are perfect for your Kern River Party.

Photography Services

Our photographers will capture photos of you and your group as you float the Kern River. We will get photos of you and your group from angles you will not be able to take yourself while you are rafting or kayaking. Our photographers will have your photos ready for you after your trip & you can purchase them for up to a year after your trip. You will be stoked to post your photos on social media and share how much fun you had.
